Payment, honestly

  • A browser redirect never activates a plan — the server verifies the payment before TEAM is granted.
  • Expired TEAM falls back to FREE automatically; there is no silent renewal.
  • Platform admins can grant a bounded manual TEAM period (up to 30 days) for support cases.

What the server enforces

  • Every plan limit is checked server-side before a write, not in the UI.
  • Slot reservations are atomic, so two simultaneous publishes cannot both succeed past the limit.
  • Usage counters are reconciled from durable records; ambiguous gaps are flagged for manual review.
  • A paid TEAM period always takes precedence over a manual grant; revoking a manual grant cannot revoke a paid one.

Common questions

Can I use both Academy and Talent on one plan?

Yes. Each organization has one module type (ACADEMY or TALENT) in the first release; both modules share the same assessment engine and the same plan limits. A later release will allow a tenant to enable both.

What happens when my TEAM period expires?

Your organization falls back to FREE with its limits. Nothing is deleted; existing published assessments and attempts remain readable, but new writes are subject to FREE caps. Manual renewal is explicit — there is no automatic charging.

Why is the payment sandbox-only?

The first release runs against the bKash and SSLCOMMERZ sandbox gateways. Live-money endpoints are intentionally not enabled; enabling them requires contractual and API work that is out of scope for this deployment.

What is a manual TEAM grant?

A platform administrator can grant a bounded TEAM period (at most 30 days) to a tenant without any payment. It is clearly labelled "manual grant — not a payment" in the UI, is append-only audited, and cannot mark an order paid or replace an active paid subscription.
